2015 Season is about to start

Posted on 12th March 2015

All the horses are fit and well and we are ready to start the 2015 season at Oasby.  We will then be running at Lincoln and Burgham.  On monday we are welcoming a work experience pupil from a local college for her 3 weeks placement and I hope she enjoys and learns lots from her time with us. Then from february we have a German visitor for 2 months here to improve her English. She likes working with horses and children so I'm hoping we don't put her off both before she returns home. It will allow us to take some more schooling liveries in so get in touch to book in!

2014 Season picture review

Posted on 12th November 2014

After the big down of 2013 of me breaking my neck and wrist at Bramham we came back in 2014 with lots of new ambitions,  mainly keeping myself in one piece but also to keep expanding the business and producing not only a team of talented horses but also talented young riders.  As I also had baby Oliver at the end of December it was a rush to get started at the begining of the season but 12 weeks after having him I was back out eventing and being bounced round a beefy 3 star track at Belton International.  Hannah and Frankie have shared the load of the competing this season and made me proud to finish the season having gone from BE100 and Pony Club to international events.  Our homebreds Murphy and Orlando have also done us proud and these 2 will not be sold and instead be kept for the children. In the meantime I hope to find more  talented young riders who can gain valuable experience on them.

My coaching has benefitted  from the installation of a xc course and this has meant we have done 2 mini eventing camps this season for everyone from lead rein up  to novice adults,  they were both great fun and we will build on these for 2015 so keep an eye out for dates. We have also continued to have very successful clinics at Netherton Park and I love seeing clients who 4 years ago were doing poles on the floor to today contemplating tackling their first BE. Lots of new aims for 2015 so I will try and keep you all posted!  Here are a few pictures from 2014
